Day 5 : 17-Oct-23 : Narayan Ashram
Started from Dharchula by 10.30am…after 30mins or so…there was small land slide, which got cleared in 30-45 mins….after starting again there was big land slide where the machine has to come from base – clear the path and again to go base…as there is no space to keep this machine….waited….waited & waited…and traffic started again by 2.30pm..so wasted almost 4 hrs….has lunch on the route and reached Narayan Ashram by 5pm…its beautiful ashram..and it was all beautified due to PM’s visit, though he never visited due to Helipad was not ready on time…had good 30-40mins spent in the ashram…started again and reached Dharchula by 8pm…had dinner directly as was in no mood to freshen up and come down for dinner…had again tiring travel day today….
Next day went to Haldwani….another ~12hrs journey….stayed in hotel…waited in private waiting room and boarded Ranikhet Express to Delhi….took flight to Mumbai….and back Home !!
