Day 3 : 15-Oct-23 – Gunji to Adi Kailash

Ready by 7am..had breakfast of palak like subji with roti & tea….started by 7.30am…reached Kuti, where it seems Pandav’s lived (Kunti Mother of Pandavs to Kuti in Local)…the structure where Pandav lived still banned for woman or unmarried woman..that is what the guide told me…then reached Nabi village…then Jolingkong…and finally base of Adi Kailash…weather was good..started by 9.15am to Parvati Kund…not much crowd here…had good darshan of Adi kailash for 15-20 minutes and then Parvati Kund & temple…all area was super beautified due to PM’s visit on 11-12 Oct….though I was ready to go towards Gauri Kund..my guide said he has not visited Gauri Kund and few ghodewala’s also updated that stone are coming down in that area…so we visited Shiv Temple on the way at the junction to base….so Gauri Kund is still pending…lets see, if this happens in future. Had good lunch consists of dal, chawal and potato & Cabbage subji papad aachar…started to return by 1.30pm & it started raining …weather was not good in fact it started snow fall….have seen for first time…reached @Gunji by 4pm….it rained continuously till evening due to which temperature was dropped and it was too cold….
